Hi everyone. Sharing a CAS card using a NBUS stamp that I've had for a while. I'm heading over to the NBUS #14 gallery to share it there as well.
I thought this was such a sweet image ... HAD TO HAVE IT! It's been sitting for a few months, but today is the day! :) And I used my watercolour paints (not distress inks), which is not the norm for me. These are very small images, so I had to use small brushes to watercolour. Not perfect, but happy with the outcome. Stamped a simple sentiment in black and popped up the image panel for some dimension.
Close-up ... don't look too close! :)
Hope this brightens your day!

I love all the prettily coloured flowers in the jars Loll and a sweet sentiment too. x
ReplyDeleteYour sweet and beautifully watercolored flowers in glass jar vases sure did brighten my day, my friend. I often make small and large bouquets in antique glass canning jars that were in the family and used! I thought your watercoloring looked Great! TFS Love and Hugs...Nancy
ReplyDeleteSuch a great pastel array of bouquets. Funny that you used watercolour paints, I'm not very good with the dye inks so this is frequently my option. Love this clean look ...it definitely brightened my day. Stay SAFE!xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a charming card, Loll! I love how you watercolored the blooms and the water in the flower jars looks amazing! Great job with your Tansai Gambi paints and a fabulous choice for your sentiment, too :) xx

ReplyDeletePerfect and beautiful! I love the jars, it's always been intimidating for me to even THINK about coloring the water...
ReplyDeleteYou know when you say that, Lolly, everybody leans in and peers at their screens! And when I did it, all I saw were beautifully watercolored little flowers in jars of water ~ great coloring of that, too, and perfect sediment! I hope you're keeping well and thank you for another shoutout! Mwah!! Love, Dolly
ReplyDeleteLovely image and great summery colours! I really like the way you coloured the water.
ReplyDeleteYour row of flower jars is simply gorgeous Loll, so pretty and beautifully watercoloured - I'd love a selection of jars and flower on my sill - I suppose I'll have to save a few special jars so I can.... love the card, hugs and stay safe Robyn
