Hi everyone. Today I'm playing along with the Twofer Challenge #28. The Designers cards are awesome, make sure to check them out on the Twofer Challenge blog.
This really is a challenge for me because I do get stuck on certain designs / layouts, so I have to think outside the box. Plus this challenge allows me to also go outside my CAS style.
I used the same circle stencil on both cards. The first card is a CAS design, Christmas card with a bokeh sky make using the stencil, along with peacock feathers and white inks.
I die-cut the hillsite scene and stamped a sentiment using the same ink as used for the bokeh sky.
Edited to Add: Entering this into the Christmas Craft Creattions - Christmas Tree Challenge. Thanks Trina!
The second card is an encouragement card. I started by masking a border and sponging gold ink through the circle stencil, using only the smaller circles and not filling in completely. I die-cut and watercoloured my hollyhocks, adding a bit of gold acrylic paint and splattering more over top and over the black panel. The sentiment is heat embossed in Princess Gold embossing powder which is a perfect match of the yellow gold of the Delicata ink used for the circles.
I had a lot of fun creating these two totally different designs. I hope you'll come play along and have some fun with the Twofer Challenge as well.

Wow, you did great with the circles/bubbles, Loll! I love both of your cards...and your Christmas one is amazing, still keeping with your signature CAS style, but an awesome sky! Heart Hugs, colleen
Awesome twofers with two distinct designs. Your second card is dramatic and a stark contrast to your Christmas card, Using the circle stencil to create the sky on your Christmas card is adorable... love it! You know this would be perfect for the Christmas Trees challenge over at Christmas Craft Creations. 😉
Great use of the circles Loll with the pretty bokeh turquoise sky against the white trees and frame, and then the wonderful look of the gold bokeh and gold spattered black background and topped by those beautiful coloured hollyhocks. x
Lovely cards, Loll! Very pretty peaceful Christmas card with beautiful background! And, love the second card with the pretty red flowers! Wonderful touches of gold, too!

WOW...both of these are GORGEOUS Loll! Totally in LOVE with your Bokeh Christmas card!! The sky done up with the bokeh technique makes the card look so modern and fun and all the surrounding white makes it CAS perfection!! Your 2nd card is so bold and BEAUTIFUL, and I am loving the gold, red, & black color combination...this card really stands out! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Love the peaceful bokeh background with the hillside trees! Such a pretty Christmas card! Your second card is so artsy with the split background! Love the gold accents on the hollyhocks and splatter! Two very different but equally artistic cards, my friend!
Wow Loll, your twofers are amazing! Your Christmas card is so pretty with the bokeh sky against the white snowy tree scene. I love peacock feather's color, your card is so peaceful and perfect. Your second card is so artsy and I am loving the colors you chose for this one too! The gold and red just pop against the black background making it so striking. I don't know what to do, I just know I want to play along. Hopefully something will inspire me. lol Hugs, Brenda
Fantastic cards, Loll. The blue sentiment pops against that matching blue sky. I love the gold used in various ways on the other card.
Two beautiful cards using your circle stencil, Lolly. I love how one was a CAS design and the other a busier mixed media design. Also a Christmas card and an thinking of you design. You really shared the versatility of your circle stencil. Thank you for sharing. Love and Hugs...Nancy
Thank you, Lolly! These are two excellent inspiration cards to showcase the concept of two distinctly different designs and I love them both! Your bokeh technique made a beautiful winter sky on your Christmas card and I love how you used the same circle for your dazzling border on your encouragement card! I can imagine the shine from the golden circles as well as the hollyhock enhancement, and the wonderful schplatters on the dark panel! The whole design is like a painting! Love, Dolly
Awesome work Loll - these are both stunning cards. Love how you created the 'sky' on the Christmas card.
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
I love that bokeh sky and design of the Christmas card. The gold circles are so pretty alongside the dark gold flecked panel. Even the hollyhocks added circles to the card.
Lovely twofers, great use of that stencil xx
Loll, two very different cards for the twofer challenge. I would have never guessed that the second card is from you. Lol...Not your ordinary CAS style, but that is what this is about. Right? Two beauties, my friend. Thanks for joining us at Twofer this month....Lin GD...
Wowie, these two cards are very pretty and rather unique! I love the dotted sky on your CAS Christmas card, and then your flower card is a total opposite. Like day and night. The black and gold and stylized hollyhocks are an awesome combo!
Two stunning cards Loll! The bokeh sky in the Christmas card is so pretty. Your Mixed Media card is so original and dramatic! Perfect in every way:)
both cards are so different. I love the pop of black with your hollyhocks and the stencilled blue sky is so artsy with the trees :)
Your Christmas card is so charming, Loll! I love how you varied the green and white on the Bokeh circles and how you kept your design CAS! I also love the contrast of the watercolored hollyhocks with your gold splatters on the black panel! It's fun to see what you've created when you step outside your comfort zone :) Barb xx
Just love your twofer, Loll - the bokeh sky looks amazing with that little scene atop & I adore your hugs card! The rich golds with black and the pop of red, genius!!
Great job of using your circles in two completely different designs Loll - your Christmas card is so soft and clean and your hugs card is so bold and dimensional - love the splattered black panel with the layered red hollyhocks! xx
Great cards Loll... I am going to have to have that Hollyhocks die! x
Fun cards, Loll, and I'm loving the bokeh flashback!
You've got a couple of stunners here, Loll! I love, love, them both! That bokeh effect is fabulous, and so different for each card. Your Christmas card is really pretty and soft; it's just right for the holidays. Almost like a twilight sky. And your encouragement card is sooo cool. The golden circles right next to the blacks and reds is gorgeous. Wowzers! I may have to CASE them both! Love them! Have a great weekend. Bev
GORGEOUS cards!! I LOVE the beautiful sky you made on the first card. Would never have thought to do this technique for a sky but am going to have to try. I LOVE the effect!!! Your second card with the lovely colors-just so elegant. Love the POP of red!!!
Two very different designs and styles Loll and both equally fabulous. Great use of the circle stencil on the Christmas card and so very pretty x. Amazing and wonderful encouragement card with a striking design layout and love this mix media card Loll....x.
These twofers are wonderful inspiration for the challenge, Loll! The designs and the feel are completely different, using the same circle stencil. Love the peaceful bokeh winter sky and the CAS design of the first card, and the dramatic color combo and your elegant mix media elements of the second card!

Your dreamy bokeh sky behind the crisp white snowy hill and trees is so serene and tranquil, Loll ... just gorgeous! The gold and black on your second card is deliciously stylish and dramatic ... and how gorgeous are those red/orange-hued holly hocks ... fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
