Hi everyone. One more stencil tracing card for the CAS Mix Up Challenge before it closes in 2 days.
You may recognize this stencil. :) I used it for my reminder card. It's one of my favourite large flower stencils. This card looks totally different than my reminder card. Changing up the colours of the flower and the colour of the pen for outlining makes a big difference
This is such a simple technique that gives a whole new look to the image. Thanks for this fun challenge Nancy!!

I hope you had time to try this technique. As always, I'd love to see your cards in our gallery. Hope to see you there!

It's amazing how different changing the colors and turning the stencil can look. This is so eye catching with these bright, cheerful colors. The out lining sure does make the petals stand out so much better. Great card, Loll.

I really love this technique Loll and will find it a very useful addition to my crafty toolbox. The effects are very different with different kinds of stencils and with different colours as you mention. Love the hot colours you used here combined with a dark pen outline. Vicky x

ReplyDeleteFantastic variation of your reminder card and wonderful inspiration, Loll! The warm colors and the black outlining gave a totally different look from the blue & silver one! The black sentiment strip creates a great contrast with the warm colors of the flower.
