Another new stamp set!! :) I thought this would be so fun to play with . It's easy too. I just inked up the stamps separately and stamped onto mixed media paper. Then I took a water brush and moved the inks around to create a watercoloured card. :) I think it would have blended better if I spritzed the inked stamps with a light mist of water before stamping, but I was working outside on my deck (enjoying the sunshine) and my mister was in my studio. I was too lazy to go get it! :)

What a fun beach scene, my friend! Wish we were sitting together watching the ocean! No need for the mister. It worked beautifully as done! Love that sentiment!

What a beautiful beach (island maybe) scene Loll! I love your watercoloring look. I made a beach/ocean scene too, but sadly it wasn't watercolor, just ink blending. lol Glad you were able to get out and soak up some sunshine! Having sun really does lift the spirits. So I don't think of you as lazy, I think of it as not wanting to leave that sunshine to go back into the house! You sure have been using up a lot of NBUS this month, good for you! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWhen I first read this post I thought how cool that your hubby was in your craft room maybe making a card. Then I got it! This looks beautiful without any misting. Your watercolor is always lovely and this is too. Great stamp.
ReplyDeleteStunning beach scene, Loll - just love the little palm trees and the lovely sentiment!! Your watercoloring looks amazing for sand and sky!!
