I watercoloured with distress inks onto mixed media paper. I added some shading in all the nooks and crannies of the image (a la Kathy Racoosin), and blended them out. It added depth and dimension. I finished off with a fun sentiment stamped in red.

What a fabulous watercoloured card Loll and such a fun image, just love that mouse with that enormous stack of parcels and the sweet little bird too, and the shading really does add that depth and dimension.. the red sentiment stands out beautifully too. x

ReplyDeleteShading with watercolor is not easy but what a fabulous job you did with this. I can't get over that you used Memento to stamp and it didn't bleed terribly. That image is just adorable too!

My that poor mouse must be so exhausted after carrying all those presents and such.lol.
