This is such an adorable image from Wild Rose Studios ... too bad they went out of business. I stamped them on mixed media paper, coloured with Zigs, and fussy-cut. Then I stamped it again onto patterned paper and then paper piece in my images. The image fit perfectly into this stitched, semi-circle frame.

ReplyDeleteI belong to a choir and it is a one choirs always have in their repertoire so have sung it quite a few times. We will forgive the change of 'calling' to 'colourful' birds Loll as they are very colourful and cute and love the semi circle die and the pretty background paper, and a sentiment from another Christmas carol and very appropriate and pretty in red. x

I know this was a challenge for you to find something to fit the theme - this is a wonderful take on it - I agree with Julia's comment that owls can be calling birds!

ReplyDeleteI love your take on the "four calling birds", making them four colorful owls. Too cute! I didn't know Wild Rose Studios went out of business. Too bad. I bought several of their stamps at our local stamp store, which also went out of business a couple years ago. Your leafy background is so pretty. I hope I can play along this month!
