I have had this stamp for a very long time. It's Pine Tree (Stampscapes) and it's so beautiful. I stamped a few of the trees in black (1st and second generation stamping) and used a light gray ink for the background trees. I have already sent this off to a dear friend who lost his mother recently.
The second card started with another piece from my stash - watercoloured tissue paper. I love the colours and bit of texture from the wrinkled tissue paper. Stamped Pine Tree (Stampscapes) again twice and then mounted my image on a black card base with circle aperture. A simple "HELLO" finishes the card.
Edited to add: Several of you have mentioned that these cards remind you of the fires burning in Oregon and California. I made these cards a few months back, long before the fires started and did not intend on making cards to reflect the terrible devastation that is happening now. Sorry if my post has upset anyone.

Wow, fantastic cards.
Hugs xx
Two perfect cards. those backgrounds are something else. A really great Twofer xx
Amazing twofer, Loll - I'm so in love with both backgrounds but especially on card one!! You're so right, what a beautiful tree and I love how you stamped it with the multiple generations on card one!!
Well all our forests here are either full of smoke or on fire right now so it reminded me of that. Good to be living away from that.
OH! This is so Clever, I love your take on the trees.
Faith x
Loll these are eerily beautiful... thought sure you were thinking of all the fires in California!
=]
Wow, these are gorgeous! Gotta love the Stampscape trees! I think I own most of them. The northern lights came out wonderfully and I love the warm colors of the second one. You make me want to run and pull out my Stampscapes again! Thanks for the inspiration.
WOW! Two amazing cards. The mop up background gives a real atmospheric look and I love the bright colours on the black card, very striking xx
Two beautiful cards Loll, super background. The second one is particularly striking. xx
These are stunning, Loll! I especially love the colours of first card... obviously, I need to start mopping up leftover inks with mm paper! Your second card looks like the images I’m seeing in the news on the California fires. 🔥😬 but yours is not scary.
Two gorgeous cards, Lolly! Love the Northern lights look of the first card! You get some really interesting mop ups! The tissue paper color is so intense and gorgeous and the black really makes it bold! Two awesome cards, my friend!
I don't think you could have picked two more perfect backgrounds for your twofers, despite all the wildfires going on out west Loll! Your first card reminds me more of the northern lights and what a perfect backdrop for those gorgeous silhouetted pine trees! And your tissue paper background reminds me more of a brilliantly colored sunset like the ones we see over Lake Michigan sometimes! Two lovely, lovely cards my friend...love them both!! Hugs. :0)
Two gorgeous cards Loll and those backgrounds from your stash are so pretty and show off those beautiful trees brilliantly. I love the black card on the second too which gives great contrast to this striking card. x
Oh my, Lolly...Two simply Gorgeous tree cards using your Beautiful backgrounds from your stash and wonderful stamping of your tree stamp. Your 2nd generation stamping for your 1st card gave a wonderful impression of trees in the distance. Loved your black card front with aperture for your stunning watercolored tissue paper background. TFS my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
Goodness gracious, gorgeous! Love the artsy beautiful feel of both
Beautiful colours in both of those backgrounds but so different! two wonderful cards!
Two wonderfully atmospheric cards Loll, I love both and must remember to mop up the ink on my craft sheet more often:)
Oh Loll both these cards are drop dead gorgeous. Love it when you have leftovers and come to life a second time round. Great result on the first one with the generation stamping on that stunning background.
Your second card looks awesome on black card stock with the simple tree stamping on that bright mottley background. Wowsers!
Can’t go wrong with trees to make a fantastic scenic card. Hugs Mrs A.
These are stunning Loll! What beautiful backgrounds!
You have outdone yourself with these two cards, Loll. They are simply beautiful. The backgrounds are awesome on both cards and I love that tree stamp. The designs are great and certainly no offense taken. The fires are terrible but in no way relate to your cards but that was nice of you to offer the disclaimer.
I am pea green with envy - not only do you have the kind of dog I really, really want, but you are so talented and your cards are amazing. Like Bonnie, you are forever producing different cards in different styles. The creative duo - you all should have your very one you tube channel giving lessons!!
Gotta say, both of these cards are out of the world gorgeous!! Bravo Kid!!
Sandy xx
These are just stunning, Lolly! I love an evergreen stamp and seem to collect them, but I will try not to be enabled this time! Your sympathy card really evokes the Northern Lights to me and is one of the best I've seen! I didn't think of the fires when I saw your Hello design. I'm in the fire area, and to me your sky looked like a gorgeous sunset. I love it with the black card base! Love, Dolly
These are both gorgeous! I love love love the generation stamping in the first and the great colors in the second one.
These are both lovely!
Both of your cards are absolutely stunning, Loll! Amazing BG's! Sue N
Loll, your cards do remind me of the wild fires but not in an upsetting way at all. Having lived through a few fires when I lived in Southern California, it's hard not to see the resemblance, but there is also incredible beauty in the chaos.
These are beautifully and heartfeltly created, one can see that. The images are stunning and the backgrounds are amazingly like nature so the two go together so well. Thanks for playing along with us for Twofer Card Challenge #31.
Oh, my goodness, Loll, I'm simply struck dumb by the beauty of your two cards. I love the dramatic colors of both backgrounds. Hey, I live in Oregon and the fires are heartbreaking, but I didn't think of them at all when I saw your cards. I saw a beautiful night sky, the way a winter sunset gets colorful in a different way and the mist settles into the trees. It's been very foggy here the last couple of days. Yes, smokey, too, but with fog added in. So now you can hardly see to the end of the street at times. Your other card looks like a summer sunset. They're just gorgeous. I don't know why anyone should be offended.
Both cards are gorgeous, Loll! I especially LOVE the first card. The background smooshed colors and effects of the second generation stamping (& stamping in gray) are wonderful!
The contrast of the watercolored tissue paper with the black card base is beautifully striking!
Hideko xx
This didn't show on my reading list Lolly..... am NOT HAPPY! Just two gorgeous makes.
Your first card has the most IMMENSE mop up background (why do mine look like blobs and yours turn out like this????) and it is the perfect backdrop for your fab trees. A beautiful sympathy card.
And I love the vibrant sky background on the second - using black cardstock was a great choice! x
Wow, these are some amazing twofers Loll, and amazing background too! I am loving your first twofer, the background is so gorgeous, looks like an evening sky after a storm came through. Love those beautiful pines, They are so tall and majestic. A great stamp to have in the stash! Your second twofer looks like night time with a blood moon! I love the silhouette of the trees over the moon. Feels like a fall moon. Not that I know what a fall moon looks like! These cards do not remind me of the CA or OR fires and I'm sorry some feel like they do. Just the opposite for me. Hugs, Brenda
Two stunning and atmospheric cards! I'd love to stock up on some Stampscape cards, but I'm saving $ at the moment:)
Your sympathy card is lovely, and is perfect as a more masculine one, something I need to keep in mind. The sky has such a beautiful array of color and I do love the generational stamping you've done here. Your hello card is simply gorgeous. The black base with the central circle draws the eye right into that amazing color. It reminds me of a Harvest moon on a dark night. Soooo beautiful. Your cards never cease to amaze me. Love this pair. Hope you are doing well and staying safe. xo Bev
Gosh, these are both beautiful, Loll! The first 'leftover ink' panel looks like the aurora borealis ... fantastic behind the forest of dark trees ... and serene and lovely for a condolence card. The richness of the colour and texture of the tissue paper on your Hello card is wonderfully atmospheric ... so dramatic! Hugs, Anita :)
Beautiful cards, Loll! I love how you created depth with your inking on the first card and your background is stunning...a perfect sympathy card! I also love all the texture on the background with tissue paper on the 2nd card...it works so well with your CAS design! You've nailed it once again, my friend ~ Barb xx
Your cards are gorgeous, Loll. I love the tree stamp but those backgrounds are something else.
These are another cards that can hear speech! Both versions are perfect and I wouldn't change anything about them. Big projects, Loll!
