I started with a beautiful image sent to me by a good friend. I do love this beautiful image (Hellebores from Power Poppy Stamps) and will definitely buy this set for myself once it's back in stock. Hellebores is also called a Christmas Rose because it blooms this time of year. It comes in many colours ... white, pink, red, purple and more). I used distress inks to watercolour. Added highlights using zigs and watercolour pencils. The sentiment is retired (Stampin' Up!).

ReplyDeleteBe still my heart. I have two Hellebores that were gifted from the daughter of a neighbor who passed away. I treasure them and brought them with me to my new home. There must be more than one kind because I think mine are Lenten roses that bloom in the Spring. I do love the soft coloring of yours, Loll.
