I followed one of Eileen Godwin's techniques for this card (click HERE for link to Eileen's video).
For the background I used a Flourish stencil from Tim Holtz. The Tulip stencil is one I cut with my silhouette cameo a few years back. The sentiment is from a retired set from Technique Tuesday.

This is beautiful Loll and love the pretty more gentle tones for the background using this sponging technique in the video, and your silhouette tulips work so well as the focal image and a super sentiment too. x

ReplyDeleteIt turned out beautifully, Loll - your stencilling adds lovely texture. And of course, you used beautiful "Loll colours". I must get mine put together and enter it for CAS Mix Up "splatter" as I used a fair bit of splatter.

ReplyDeleteThat stenciled background shows up beautifully in the photo, Lolly! Love those gorgeous flowers add so much contrast! So far I have batted 0 on the gesso. My gesso wants to soak up the paint. Maybe I need some new gesso. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise, my friend!
