Remember to create ...
Today I'm using a balloon stencil (Big Balloon Stencil - My Favorite Things). I created my happy birthday card by sponging six balloons in the colours of the rainbow, overlapping them slightly. The die-cut Happy Birthday is from Memory Box.Close-up ...
For my Baby card, I used just one balloon. Started by sponging a plaid background (Plaid Layering Stencil - Tim Holtz). I sponged my one balloon first with picked rasberry ink (which was used for the plaid background as well, and then shaded with Seedless Preserves. These colours work well together - who knew??!! :) The sentiment is also from AliExpress.

ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards, Loll. I love the rainbow colours on your first card and the plaid stencilling on your second card is beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous cards, Loll! I love that you used a slimline design for both...you did such a great job stenciling the balloons in rainbow order on the first one and I LOVE the plaid background on the new baby card! Thank you so much for inspiring me to play along ~ xx
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards, and slimline at that! They are more difficult to photograph, but definitely fun to make and yours are great
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the balloon stencil for two very different cards. Love the rainbow of colours in the first one - great shading to give a sense of dimension. Great plaid background for the second!
ReplyDeletetwo great cards Loll, I love the dimension you created with your blending on the balloons. Your rainbow one is a fun birthday card and the baby card is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteTwo very creative and beautiful colorful slimline balloon cards, Lolly. I love your rainbow colored balloons for your Happy Birthday card. LOVE your gingham stenciled background for your your balloon baby card and your bright and cheerful colors. Yes, Slimline cards are difficult to photograph, but you cleverly arranged your cards together. I discovered using the white cardboard that comes in SU Designer Paper is the right size for taking photos or 12x12 cardstock works too.
ReplyDeleteTFS your beauties, my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
