Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing one of the four images from the new stamp Thriving (30-811).
I love lilacs and this is such a beautiful image.
I placed the stamp in my Misti and inked with distress inks (Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn), both markers and ink pads. I misted lightly with water and stamped onto mixed media paper. A small paint brush was used to move some of the colour around, and more ink was added to intensify the colours. Added a Square Frame (51-517) and stamped a sentiment (Happy Snippets 30-358) in purple ink.
Sendng this card over to The Flower Challenge #56 - Use your Favourite Flower. I love so many flowers, it's been hard to choose just one, so I keep making cards. :)
I wanted to make a second card using this same image. I used the same layout but changed up the medium and colours.
I'll be back with more cards using the other beautiful images from this set!

Your watery lilacs look so pretty, Lolly! I love lilacs and they don't grow well here. The second card is so striking with the brilliant, shiny blue on the dark background! Such elegance, my friend! Jessie is looking so pretty! Happy Birthday, Jessie!
Absolutely beautiful lilac flowers Loll and love the ornate frame which shows them off so well. I can't believe that sweet Jessie is two years old and a beautiful series of photos taken by Alex. x
Happy birthday, Jessie! I was thinking she looked very fluffy in the pictures... like she's made of cotton balls. Adorable! Such a pretty flower for our viewing pleasure today, Loll! Two ways, equally gorgeous. Soft and sweet on the white, and dramatic against the navy. Love both!
Such a beautiful card Loll, love the sot colouring of this wonderful flower. xx Aileen
What a pretty Lilac image and both cards are beautiful Loll x. Fabulous water colour effect on the first and a shimmery and WOW effect on the second x.
Jessie is fluffy and adorable and yes time sure does fly Loll x.
Both cards are beautiful, yet look so different. Another creative showcase of the versatility of one stamp. Love the frame and your colouring is fantabulous.
I’m back again to wish Jessie a happy belated 2nd birthday! 🎉🛍🎁🎂🎈 Time is whizzing by. She’s adorable as ever. 😊
Two Gorgeous lilac cards, Lolly...I especially Love the Stunning 2nd card using navy blue background, which really made your heat embossed and watercolored lilacs pop! TFS Alex's sweet photos of fluffy, Jessie. I can't believe she is already 2...time does fly. Love and Hugs...Nancy
What a difference the change of colours makes to the look of the card! Both are lovely. Beautiful shades of mauve and purple in the first one, and wonderful vibrancy in the second one. Lovely photos of Jessie - my goodness, those two years have gone by quickly!
Two gorgeous cards here Loll, I love them both equally! Thanks for sharing with us over at 'The Flower Challenge' ;) hugs Viv xx
Beautiful hydrangeas, one of my favorite flowers, too. Love the clean elegance of the first card and the second cards embossing. The image looks so gorgeous on the navy cardstock. How can resist all of Jessie's cuteness...Happy Birthday, sweet one.
They are both beautiful, can't decide which I like best. Hope Jessie enjoyed her birthday xx
Both lilac cards are lovely and elegant, Loll! Love the color of the flowers and the watercolor-look of the first one. I can imagine the pretty shimmer of the second card! I’ve never used Mica Powder, but the flowers and the leaves look gorgeous especially against the dark navy background.
Happy belated birthday to Jessie! She’s so sweet and I want to touch her fluffy hair!
Hideko xx
Such a nice color scheme, I love the purple-blue version of the hydrangea. Just like your flower on the card. A great openwork frame, beautifully exposes the picture. The second version of the card is even more striking.
xx
A beautiful duo, Loll ... even though the design is the same, you made them look so different from one another! The first is soft, fresh and dreamy ... the second is dramatic and striking with the shimmer against the navy background ... both are lovely! Hugs, Anita :)
