The Flower Challenge #58

Hi everyone.  Today is the start of a new challenge at The Flower Challenge.  This month we want to see Spots or Stripes on your floral cards.  I used both! :)


The gorgeous floral spray is Exhilaration (Penny Black).  I started by placing it in my Misti and then inking with Distress markers.  Spritzed with a little water and stamped onto mixed media paper.  Once it was dry, I splattered with the same green ink and stamped the sentiment from Gratitude (Penny Black) in black ink.  To finish, I added a thin strip of diagonal striped washi tape to the left side.

    Ohhhh this is so pretty Loll. What a fabulous effect with the way you've 'water coloured' the floral spray. The green splats, along with the washi tape looks fabulous x. Glorious card Loll x.

    This is gorgeous Loll. I love the pretty floral image, such a nice effect from the markers. The washi down the side is a really nice addition and I love the splatters of course! xx

    Ohh!! this is so beautiful Loll, love the water color look on this image, the slapstick images from Penny Black are perfect for this look.

    This is so so pretty Loll! The inking technique is lovely and gives such a lot of texture, and the spattering and sentiment are perfectly placed.
    Hope you are keeping well and that excessive heat isn't a problem for you as it seems to be for so many right now.
