Hi everyone. Back to reminder you that we are half way through August. There's nine days left to play along with our CAS Mix Up August Challenge - Stamping Through Stencil. Jenny is hosting this challenge and I've had a lot of fun looking through my stencils to see what would work with stamping. Another great way to stretch the use of some of our stencils!!

I used a stencil that I made with one of my heart dies. Placed it over my card front panel and secured with tape before lightly sponging with Antique Linen distress ink. I sponged darker around the edges.
Stamped the image, Rose Teacup (Stampendous) in versamark ink and heat embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder (Ranger). The roses and berries are watercoloured with distress markers, Candied Apple and Mahogany; the leaves are watercoloured with distress marker Peeled Paint. The card is finished with a sentiment from an AliExpress stamp set, stamped in Candied Apple ink.

And here is the reminder card for CAS Christmas August Challenge - Decorations. This is a cute image from Gerda Steiner (Little Reindeer). I love how the reindeer has decorated his antlers! :)

Used a new-to-me embossing folder to add a frame of embossed snowflakes to the background. Stamped the reindeer in black and heat embossed in clear, then watercoloured with zigs. Added cheeks using red chalk and white Posca pen, shine on the his nose and the stars is Crystal Glaze. Tore a piece of white card stock for the snow hill and added clear wink of stella to the torn part to add some shimmer. The sentiment (Merry Messages - Lawn Fawn) is stamped in Candied Apple Distress Ink.

I love the antiquey feel of this heart stenciled card, Loll! It's just so pretty and feminine. Your watercoloring with beautiful shades is gorgeous, as always. The little sentiment is placed in the perfect spot.
And what a fun and adorable reindeer! This innocent-looking guy with the colorful lights decorated on his antlers will sure bring any card receiver a holiday smile! The snowflake embossed frame is a nice touch too!

Two more beautiful watercoloured cards for the challenges Loll, and I love the stencil made from the heart die and with the really pretty added flowers, and then the fun reindeer with his ornament laden antlers, and love the background snowflake embossing and the torn snow slopes with the added shimmer, and lovely gloss added to the stars and his nose, and a great sentiment to finish too. x
Beautiful roses stamped through the heart stencil - a gorgeous card for an anniversary or Valentine's Day. Also an adorable Christmas card with the sweet reindeer and the tangle of ornaments and lights on his antlers. Love that frame of embossed snowflakes.

Aren't we lucky that we can stretch our dies to make stencils. This is so nicely done. Those embossed roses look lovely within your stenciled heart. Makes for a truly sweet card.

Your stamping through this stencil is awesome, one of the few design we've come up with which has the accent on the stamping rather than the stencilling. Your flowers look amazing!
