To finish, I stamped the sentiment (also from the same set) onto a vellum banner and heat embossed with the same Liquid Platinum embossing powder used on the wreath. I added a few white highlights with my Posca pen.
Close-up ...
This wreath comes with a matching die, so maybe next time I'll use that. I'm sending this over to NBUS Challenge #32. Happy to be using some of my HUGE stash of new stamps! :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteAdorable photo of Jessie! Bet she enjoyed her sleepover! That's a beautiful wreath, Loll - love your colouring inside the platinum embossing. The vellum sentiment strip is the perfect way to do the sentiment without detracting from the wreath.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful and inspiring card, thank you Loll. Your cards are so fresh and clean looking.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better and Jessie will be home soon.
Beautifully painted, Loll! And I think I have to have that gorgeous stamp too. Love the highlights with the white gel pen- making the berries look shiny. The photo of Jessie is adorable and I’m thinking you could print it and make a wonderful set of note cards with that adorable photo!
ReplyDeleteThe berry wreath is so pretty, Loll! The shine of the heat-embossing, the highlights and shadows of the berries show very well in the close-up picture. Heat-embossing sentiment on the vellum strip is a wonderful way to make the sentiment stand out.
ReplyDeleteJessie is so sweet! Her eyes are definitely looking for something far away.
