Merry Christmas!!

Hi everyone.  Today I'm sharing something a little different.  I bought this snow globe die (Snow Globe A2 Shaker die - Honey Bee) many months ago with the plan to use it for my Christmas cards this year.  Needless to say, I have changed my mind on that. :)  This was like a card-making marathon! :)

But, I'm happy I made this.  I followed Jennifer McGuire's video "Shaker Ornaments".  I used ten layers of card stock frames, two layers of acetate centers, along with the original background center and a separate sentiment.  Whew!  That's a lot of die-cutting. :)

Close-up ...
I hope you enjoyed seeing my snow globe shaker.  This will be a one-of this year. :)

I'm signing off for the rest of the year.  I want to thank all my friends, followers, and subscribers for visiting my blog throughout the year.  I appreciate all of you!

Merry Christmas!
Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season
and the best for 2022!

And a very Merry Christmas from Jessie!!

I'll be back on January 1, 2022 with my CAS Mix Up Challenge card.
See you then!

Ten layers of cs!! That's a lot of cutting and gluing! I'm very impressed! It turned out beautifully but I can see why you won't be making more of them. I'm looking forward to seeing it in real life (I'm assuming you'll keep it after all that work!).

What a beautiful photo of Jessie - Tessa says Merry Christmas to her too!

That's not a card, Lolly, that's a gift!! And a gift that the recipient will treasure and bring out every year - or perhaps you will keep it yourself as a decoration! It's really beautiful! And so is Jessie! That's another stunning photo. Merry Christmas to you and thank you for another year of fun and inspiration! Love, Dolly

This is wonderful. A gift, an ornament or something to add to a package. That is a lot of layers, but oh, so worth it. Merriest Christmas wishes to you and your family and a special pat from Daisy to Jessie. See you next year.

Loll, it was well worth every bit of effort on your part! Really wonderful - not for making multiples though, I agree!
Merry Christmas - looking forward to every creation you'll make in 2022!

This is truly an amazing snow globe shaker, Loll! I can easily imagine the shaker with ten layers of card stock frames will make a 3D ornament. The snowy scene is so pretty, and I love that you added some gold and clear beads to the globe in addition to sequins. Thank you for sharing a cute picture of Jessie. Her hair looks so shiny!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and to your family too!

I'm so impressed with this darling snow globe shaker, Loll! Your details make it so special...the dimension you created with the stacked frames, your stamping of the tree and placement of the darling deer as well as all the fabulous gems make this really fun and festive!
Love Jessie's expression in this pic of her...I'll bet Santa had a lot of treats for her under the tree :) xx

Your snowball turned out to be extremely laborious, but the end result is deadly. Such a stunning look of this shaker, all the layers and this amazing background make it a work of art, not a card.
I would also like to thank you for the whole past year of great inspiration and so much fun for all of us. Thank you and I wish you even more great ideas and persistence to make us happy :-)
xx
