Many examples will be Christmas cards ... this combination is perfect for them. For the card above, I followed an example of how to do white sponging on kraft from a very talented team mate, Linda (Life in the Craft Lane) ... this link is to all her white and kraft cards. She is a master at creating beautiful white on kraft cards. Thanks for the inspiration Linda!
This is a combination of sponging with white pigment ink (Hero Arts) using torn copy paper to create masks for snowhills. I love how this turned out. The trees (All Things Evergreen - Penny Black) are stamped in Archival Potting Soil ink (permanent) and placed along the way as I moved up the card with my sponging. The sentiment (Bright and Light - Penny Black) was also stamped in the Potting Soil ink. I used white acrylic paint to add the snow details on the trees, and diluted more of the white acrylic paint to splatter the card for my falling snow. It was fun! I enjoyed using a mini slimline as my base (3 1/4" x 61/4").
Close-up ...
Other ways to create white on kraft are super simple. First up, stamp image in Versamark or White Pigment ink and heat emboss with white. Easy, peasy ...
For the card below, I stamped the image (Heart Christmas from Penny Black) in versamark and heat embossed in white. I used a watercolour pencil to colour in the image and lightly went over top with a water brush to smooth out the colour. The sentiment is from Holly Days (Penny Black).
Also, my friend Bonnie recently made a card using kraft card stock which was dry embossed and then swiped over top with a white stamp pad. Awesome!

What wonderful cards, Loll! I love white on kraft and you showed many ways to use it! I especially love the holiday card with the snowbanks and trees! The white heart is lovely, too! Thanks for the inspiration! Sue N
Beautiful! Love the Daisy!
The kraft with white is always so fresh and pretty and these all look terrific Loll. I do love the brown inked trees and sentiment as a contrast on the first and the white sponging and spattering finish it so well. The other three are beautiful with the white embossed images and the heart shaped winter foliage has the extra touch of white coloured with pencil which is beautiful, and the last on vellum and cut out also works brilliantly. x
Love these! I never had much luck with white ink but after seeing these beauties I may just have to try again. They look so fun to do! The white ink on the trees really brings them out! Fabulous cards, Loll!
OMG Lolly...You sure have me inspired to get out some of my kraft paper and...I just got a new SSS premium white pigment ink pad:-) TFS all 3 of your beautiful Christmas cards and your flower card. TFS the link to Linda's cards too. Your blog is always a wealth of creative card making inspiration dear friend! Love and Hugs...Nancy
Great techniques Loll! I especially like the last one with the vellum technique, it is so pretty! ~ Stef
Thank you for all the inspiration and techniques for using white on Kraft card Loll x. Your cards are amazing and so very eye catching x.
Beautiful cards Loll, the sponging looks amazing on the kraft in the first card, such a great technique, TFS, Cathy x
Wonderful cards Loll. The effect of white on Kraft is beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration. xx
I too so veer away from kraft coloured card but I might just have to have a go now Loll... you have certainly inspired me... four wonderful card.. all so different - just kraft & white, that don't have to be Christmas.. have a great day Robyn
Wonderful cards and thank you for the how-to.
Thanks for a great tutorial Loll, now I just have to sit down at my desk. Love all the different ways of using Kraft and White and such a beautiful selection of cards ♥
I love white on kraft so these bring smiles! Those snowy trees looks so peaceful. Pretty cards, Loll!
Thanks for the shout out, my friend, and thanks so much for the demo and all the tips on using white on kraft. Your samples are AWESOME!
All of your cards are fabulous! Love your first one - I think I need to get a new white pad as I couldn't get my snow banks as white as yours. I tried the heat embossing yesterday, but now I'm eager to try using vellum and a die cut as I love that flower on top of the kraft - it's beautiful!
Thank you for the fun lesson, Lolly, and thank you to Linda for her inspiration. I can't wait to try and make snow hills and I love the other ways you shared, too, especially the white heat-embossed vellum over kraft with the white sediment! Love, Dolly
Hi, Loll hope all is well with you. White on kraft is a match made in crafting heaven. The first one has so much detail you can almost feel the snow. The others are beautifully CAS. I have tried white on kraft but never gets such amazing results.yours are stunning.
Marie
What wonderful results, and thanks for sharing all the techniques Loll.
Stay safe

This technique is so effective - card #1 has to be my favourite but they are all lovely in different ways
Great ideas Loll, I finally got some Unicorn white ink last year and I've not really used it!! You've inspired me to get inky. :)
I love anything on kraft cardstock, but the white is absolutely one of my favorites and you've definitely showcased it beautifully with ALL your cards Loll!! Love them all, but especially the slimline card with the snowy scene...absolutely GORGEOUS!! (Almost makes me think I still like snow! Haha!!) Glad you were able to get together and craft...does the soul good with so much else going on!! Hugs. :0)
This was a wonderful zoom and your cards are so beautiful. I love all of them and all the different ways to use white and kraft. My hills came out great but I had the mask too high and the stamping didn't work. I'll keep at it.
Those are awesome Loll! I particularly like the white embossed vellum!! Glad to see you having fun!!
Thanks for the lovely shout out, your cards look amazing!!!
There's something special about white on kraft card whichever technique you use, and you've shared some great ones here.
Love the winter scene ..... those splatters look fabulous. The wreaths look so pretty, especially the heart. And the heat embossing on vellum looks so delicate. Great job with all of your designs, looks like you had lots of fun! xx
Grea group of cards. Agree that W hite on Kraft is such a classic colour palette for cards, especially Christmas. Love your first card!… the scene is so serene and peaceful.
These are all fabulous, it is a really great technique that we should all use more often. I really like the one that you have combined with vellum, very classy xx
What a beautiful collection of White on Kraft cards, Loll! Love the variety of the techniques. The white sponged snow hills card is especially fantastic with the dark brown ink and the white acrylic paint snow!
I think somebody should turn your torn copy paper mask into a product. It always makes realistic snow hill lines!
Hideko xx
Beautiful and amazing! Each one different, yet so pretty
I love that you created the whole winter scene on a light gray panel. It makes me feel like it's just getting dark. I also love how you added snow on the branches. It looks really lovely.
I also love the second card, the white wreath looks like it's made of ice. The flower on the vellum is so amazing, with the white embossing it looks wonderful. Great designs, Loll.
hugs,
BożenA
Wow Loll these are all so gorgeous. The snow capped trees are my favourite. Lovely sentiment.
