I'm so sorry this is 5 days late! I have not been well and haven't even managed to make it onto my computer until today.
For the card above I used the Flutterby (Penny Black) image, stamping it twice to fill my card panel, stamping in black ink and heat embossing with clear powder. I used to shades of yellow distress inks (Mustard Seed, Wild Honey) to watercolour the lovely tulips, along with Mowed Lawn distress ink for the leaves. I finished by adding a soft sponging of green around the edges and a sweet little sentiment (Happy Snippets - Penny Black) stamped in black and heat embossed. I did use a fine black sharpie to fill in the stamens before mounting the panel onto foam and adding it to my card base.
Close-up ...
I added the same corner stamping of tulips to the inside of my card as well. :)
I hope you'll check out the amazing cards by the Design Team and then come play along. Use your Penny Black stamps and/or dies to create any style of card, and then add it to the gallery!
I'm sending this card over to the ? challenge.
Thanks for stopping by!
