The sentiment is from another new release, So Thankful (30-914), and it finishes my simple watercoloured card.

I started my card using the colours from the latest challenge at Color Hues (#43). Love this combination!

This is absolutely gorgeous Loll, and the two colours used for these fabulous flowers are so bright and pretty and with really seamless beautifully blended watercolouring, and love the the green ink used in opposite corners of the background and blended out towards the centre. x
ReplyDeleteReally stunning, Loll!

Beautifully painted but the words "simple" and " Water color" don't go together in my world (grin). I'm particularly fond of the way you sponged your background which perfectly highlight your artwork. Gorgeous card, Loll!
ReplyDeleteLove your new watercolored flowers from PB and you are right...they are a very generic shape which makes them perfect for any color that suits you:-) Loved the new PB Thankful sentiments too...so appropriate for many occasions..especially these days...I think it is a must have sentiment set, Lolly:-) TFS Love and Hugs...Nancy

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and the opposite corners inked and the middle left white is a wonderful effect
ReplyDeleteYour Himalayan blue poppies are so pretty, Loll! Your beautiful watercoloring makes the petals look light and airy, and sponging the opposite corners is a wonderful effect! The sentiment sure warms any recipient's heart.
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
These flowers are beautiful as Himalayan blue poppies! Gorgeous with the bright green shading, too. I love how you shaded only the corners. Making a note. Thank you for always inspiring, Loll!
ReplyDeleteI love Himalayan blue poppies - I've tried to grow them a few times but never succeeded so now I just go to Van Dusen to see them there. You've captured their glorious blue! Love the green sponging to set them off.

ReplyDeleteLove this color combo Loll and love this card. A beautiful bunch of flowers for sure. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWow! How amazing the combination of these colors looks! The flowers even pop up and contrast wonderfully with the background. I also love how you pulled the color in the background that you left a white stripe. This adds variety to the card and makes it a real eye-catcher. This PB stamp is amazing.
