I die-cut two sets of the flowers from mixed media paper and sponged each with distress inks: Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple, Mowed Lawn.
I then stamped the jug in black ink from the set called Country Charisma (30-690), heat embossing in clear. The jug was cut out using the matching die (Country Charisma (51-634), before using a Versamark pen to add random clear ink and heat embossing with Fractured Ice embossing powder (Allure).
Using an exacto knife, I cut a small slit near the top of the jug to weave through the stems from the flowers. The whole jug of flowers was popped up over the sweet thank you sentiment (So Thankful 30-914).

Adding this to the Snippets Challenge #430 ... I used snippets for everything except the card base. :) So happy to be playing along after missing a few challenges! :)
And sending it also to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for June.
And to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge - this week is Add a Sentiment. I think the sentiment is perfect for this bunch of flowers in a jug.

Wowser, a gorgeous card Loll. So very pretty in pink - my fave colour. How wonderful that PB have finally caught up and now do dies. Some are very current and also some with those stamps we loved from years ago. Good marketing move I think!
Hugs
Di xx
Pretty flowers, Lolly! I love how you've tucked them into the watering can for a sweet, rustic bouquet!
Wat pretty little flowers you added to pitcher, Loll! This is a delightful card!
Love that jug - I have one just like it! Beautiful peonies, lovely sponging on them to get shading and colour variation.
Beautiful jug full of such a pretty bunch of stamped and die cut flowers, Lolly. So clever of you to add slits in the jug to add your stamped and die cut leaves:-) I learn something every time you post your cards, my friend:-) TFS your card and detailed description, Lolly. Love and Hugs...Nancy
P.S. we have just had our 1st 2 hot (85 degrees) Summer like days:-) I just came in from hand watering our rock garden:-) Denny finally got to start planting our veggie garden today..the potatoes are in:-) We are so happy!!
Beautiful snippets card using PB products.
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. It’s a bit early here in the UK but Breakfast Club in the Treehouse will start in a couple of hours where you’re welcome to enjoy hot buttered crumpets! Xxx
Such a pretty way to say thanks to someone - didn't realise PB did dies though, maybe it's a new departure for them.
A great idea to slip those fab, summery blooms into the opening in the watering can. A gorgeous summery card. :)
I love the way that embossing powder makes the pitcher look, Loll, so I went looking for it. It doesn't look like it's available in the US. :(
How fresh and pretty Loll, and I love the die cut flowers and leaves, and the softly coloured jug too, and they look as though they were meant to be together..a wonderful thank you card. x
This is so pretty, you have to love die cuts xx
so pretty Loll, your flowers are so bright and happy and love the watering can container.
so pretty, Loll and a nice combination of stamping and die-cuts.
Soooo pretty! More Penny Black to love after seeing your beautifully crafted CAS card!
This is so beautiful, Loll! The sponged flowers are so pretty and I love the texture of the jug! I bought a jar of Fractured Ice embossing powder after I saw it used in one of your cards some years ago, and I love the color and the texture, but I didn't have many ideas of how I could use the embossing powder. It's perfect to represent this kind of ceramic surface! Thanks so much for your inspiration!

I thought I'd left a comment earlier. Must be not or Blogger is sending them to spam. Your flowers are gorgeous and I love the texture on the jug. So realistic!
I love your flowers in your watering can Loll! So sweet! Hugs, Brenda
Beautiful card Loll!
Thanks for playing at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge!

A very effective card. I myself really like to color the cut-out parts of the dies. I believe that this allows the attractiveness of these elements to be increased, and that is exactly what has happened in this case. You have created a sweet bouquet of flowers and placing them in a watering can looks really sweet.
