This time I've used Lindy's Magical powders, spritzed with water to create a watercolour background.
The butterfly is part of a stencil from STAMPlorations called Flutterby Stencil. I masked off the other butterflies before adding embossing paste over the largest butterfly. I quickly sprinkled with silver embossing powder and then let it dry before heat setting.
I embossed white card stock with the Blossom Field embossing folder (Simon Says Stamp), then die-cut a curved edge using a long-retired die. I was stumped for a while as to where to add my sentiment. I finally settled on adding a small black banner with silver embossing, held to the card with a staple. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! - Endless Birthday Wishes, another long retired set that is only getting it's first inking after years in my NBUS box! :)

Such a beautiful ethereal look to this - love the way the Magicals turned out. The curved line to the embossed panel echoes the top curve of the butterfly's wings. Just lovely!
Love this beautiful butterfly Lolly! x
Your background looks fab with the flutterby all silver and glittery! :)
LOVE how you stenciled and added paste to just one of the butterflies on the stencil. I will have to try your technique:-) Love your curved die cut dry embossed flowers and stapled sentiment and Magicals background. Such a clever and creative CAS Things with Wings card design, Lolly. You have me inspired...as always!!! Love and Hugs...Nancy
such a beautiful dreamy effect with the embossing powder and paste on your lindys watercolour background ♥
What a clever way to get a silver, heat embossed butterfly. Never thought to add embossing powder to embossing paste and LOVE the effect. Thank you for the fresh idea. Love the color of the Lindy Magicals too.
Wowie, that is one gorgeous butterfly and on such a pretty background! The curved embossed lower panel makes a swoosh that lifts the butterfly right up. I never would have guessed that's a stencil. Beautifully done, Loll!
One of my favourite butterflies Loll - so glad I also own it. Love how you have used it on this dramatic card
Blessings

This is stunning, Loll. How beautiful a simple butterfly can be. Great Magical background with the embossed panel. I love this.
This is such a graceful butterfly, Lolly! I love it embossed in silver and showing off against the Lindy's background!
This is sensational, Lolly! I love each fantastic element and what a great swooping design to mimic the movement of that glorious silvery embossed/pasted butterfly! The soft and shimmery Lindy background and sweet hello bring everything together. Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Dolly
Fabulous stenciled butterfly card, Loll! The shine of the silver embossing paste looks so pretty against Lindy's Magical background! Love that you placed the embossed white panel below the butterfly. The curved edge adds a flowing movement to the butterfly.

So beautiful, Loll. That embossed texture paste adds so much dimension to the butterfly and you know how much I love the varied colors of those Magicals.
STUNNING card Loll!! Absolutely LOVE your butterfly that you embossed with paste...I really do need to try that technique!! And you know I love Lindy's Magicals, so your background is a perfect landing spot for your butterfly! Love the stapled sentiment strip too. Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
I love the texture on your gorgeous butterfly, Loll and the pretty background is perfect for it. I really like the modern feel, and the staple in the sentiment strip is a great finishing touch.
Hope you are keeping well,
