For today's card I created a very CAS design using a frame of a circle with trees die from AliExpress. This cuts away the background of the circle, leaving a card front with the circle aperture and trees, which I used for my card front. I die-cut it again using silver glimmer paper (SU!) and then cut the trees away from the frame so I could attach them on top of my card front. I off-set the trees slightly so it looks as though there is snow on the tree branches. I didn't get it perfect for the bottom of the circle, so I covered up my uneven edge with a black sentiment banner (Snowglobe sentiments - retired - My Favorite Things). The banner is heat embossed with silver embossing powder, so that added just a tiny bit of shine. The background is from my stash of pieces of smooshed magicals, just perfect to add a bit of colour to my design.

I love those sparkly trees against that lovely blue sky. Great save with the sentiment. They can be so useful can't they? xx
Beautifully done - love the way the silver trees are offset on the white ones. A perfect sparkly winter scene!

What a lovely and peaceful Christmas scene you created, Loll! The sparkly silver trees are so pretty against the light blue Magicals sky, and the offset snow effect is a clever idea! Thanks so much for your kind introduction!

Beautiful glitter trees against one of your gorgeous backgrounds. Great idea to offset the white to look like snow and what a wonderful job you did covering the offset circle.
Love the sparkle of these trees, Lolly! They are so pretty against the blue "sky" and shine brightly with all the white space!
So clean, simple and beautiful, Loll.

That little trio of trees makes me smile! Darling CAS card, Loll!
So simple and beautiful. Pristine like a snowy hillside. Clever use of the die to make the trees all icy and sparkling in the daylight.
I love your sparkly trees. I really like how you've off-set the two layers to give the look of snow on the branches, very clever xx

Love the sparkly trees against the icy blue, wintery sky Loll.
So happy that I can now visit your blog without blogger scrambling the content as it had been doing earlier this week! :)
Lovely shine and a great way to save the uneven edge, Lolly.
These trees are so pretty with the added silver glimmer paper and the blue background through the aperture looks beautiful Loll, and love the contrast of the silver on black sentiment strip. x
Brilliant move to cover the tree offset with a black banner with sentilent. I love the watercolor sky you did for this scene.
