I embossed a piece of mixed media paper with the folder before smooshing the card in Picked Raspberry Distress ink. Once dry, I used a small, flat sponge to go over the highlighted areas of the embossing with Candied Apple Distress ink. I used my silver pen to add dots to the poinsettia centers.
I used a strip of black card stock for the sentiment (Bright & Light - Penny Black), embossing in silver before attaching to the bottom of my embossed panel.
I'm sending the card above to the Jingle Belles - I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas Challenge as part of the Breast Cancer Awareness month! I haven't had time to play along with Jingle Belles much for a long time, but as a cancer survivor, I always play along with their Pink challenge in October. Thanks girls!

I thought I'd make a second card with the same folder and inks, but this time I used the debossed side for my card ...
I finished the card by adding a die-cut JOY sentiment from silver foil card stock.I'm sending this card to the Can you Handle the Pressure Challenge - Anything Embossing Goes. I didn't use the twist this time.

Wow, both cards are just wonderful, Loll.
OMG Loll! I just picked up a new EF from Spellbinders' - I might be 'borrowing' your color scheme for it!
Just love pink at Christmas, and both of your gorgeous cards in a combo of pink and red!
=]
What a fab EF, I do love a poinsettia! They look great debossed or simply embossed. :)
I'm so fond of non-traditonal Christmas colors. What a cool technique Loll and love how you added contrast with a small dauber! Beautifully done!
Two oh so pretty looks using this 3D Poinsettia embossing folder Loll and the pink with the highlighted detail in red looks fabulous using the positive and the negative, and love the way you have highlighted the centres with silver and then stamped in silver on the contrasting black on the first, and die cut a sentiment from silver card on the second which finishes them both beautifully. x
I love that you can get different looks depending on the side of the folder, Loll, and both of your pink/red cards are stunning.
Awesome coloring on this embossing, Lolly! I love the depth of colors on the embossed and debossed! Too fantastic but differing looks!
Wow, Loll are these ever PRETTY! What a great EF!
Your 'pink' Christmas cards are simply stunning Loll... love that EF. You're inspiring me to finish a card that's been on my desk for ages, thanks and hugs Robyn
What a great example of how beautiful both the embossed and debossed sides of a folder can be, Lolly! I love both designs in pink for this great cause! Love, Dolly
Two beautiful pink Christmas cards, Loll! Wonderful use of that gorgeous embossing folder!
Loll these are marvellous - Love how you have used both sides of embossed panels and got two different cards.
Ironically my daughter has just been diagnosed with breast cancer this month...
Blessings
Maxine
OMG..another must try technique by Lolly!!! TFS your beautiful smooshed dry embossed poinsettia images in pink and red inks, my friend. Quite a different effect using the debossed side of your folder too. I Love both your cards. Love and Hugs..Nancy

Wow. Wow. Wow. Either/or... they both look spectacular! It's so hard not to shop when I see something this gorgeous. Your technique with the inks has my jaw dropped. The silver pen dots look dimensional. Every inch a beauty. Speaking of beauty... I'm looking at a gorgeous coral pink background on the birthday card you sent. Today is the day and it arrived yesterday just in time! Thank you, Loll.
Two pretty pink poinsettia cards, Loll! It's interesting to see such a different look the embossed and the debossed cards have. The shiny silver dots and sentiments go so well with the pink and red.
Hideko xx

Emboss, deboss -- you've proved that both sides are beautiful. Love your color choices, Loll
Who makes that cool silver pen ... the poinsettia centers are perfection ... love the colors on the embossed texture ... they really make the embossed design sing ... so very glad you joined our PINK Christmas at Jingle Belles.
These cards are fabulous, you have really enhanced those embossed flowers with your inking. I must give it a try xx
Oh my goodness, what a beautiful embossing folder and you've used it sooooo expertly to make not one but TWO stunning poinsettia cards! Thanks very much for joining our Jingle Belles fun and helping us raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! ♥
This embossing folder looks great using either side - love the red tips with the pink - so pretty covering the whole card! xx
WOW! This embossed background looks stunning when you add colors to it! The second card is even more stunning. I love it!
