On to my card ... I started by pulling out a background from my stash. This is a smooshing of shades of orange and pink --- love it! :)
I used the Peeking Sunflowers stencil (STAMPlorations) over top, sponging with Distress Inks, Rusty Hinge, Ground Espresso. I love the deep colours for these pretty sunflowers.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment (Gratitude - Penny Black) first in Rusty Hinge ink, and then a second stamping of Ground Espresso ink over top.
Close-up ...
I'm sending this over to the Stencil Fun challenge where anything stenciled goes. This month the optional challenge is Fall Colours! Perfect :)

So vibrant and gorgeous. Love that stencil and your background is perfect xx
Your card is such a lovely tribute to those who keep us safe on the home front...we are celebrating Veteran's Day today, as well. I love your color palette, Loll! It's perfect for the sunflowers and for autumn, especially with your gorgeous background! xx
What a gorgeous card Loll with that fabulous sunflower stencilled in those strong colours for a really striking look, and love the piece from your stash which you used as the background, also finished with a great sentiment. x
Gorgeous Fall colors for your beautifully stenciled sunflowers, Lolly. Your smooshed background for your stash was perfect for your card background. You have made my day wonderful, my friend. I must remember your color combos...so perfect for Fall creations. We celebrated Veterans Day on Monday..a wonderful day and everyday perfect for thanking and remembering those that have and still protect our country. Love and Hugs to you and Gord.
This card is ON FIRE! with your wonderful bright colors Loll! We too are celebrating Veterans day in the US - Thankful to my son who served in the US Army 1996-2001 and my dad who served in WWII 1942-1945 in France xx
I love your stenciled flowers, Loll - so gorgeous atop that blended background!!
Beautiful colours in both the background and the sunflowers! What a perfect autumn card!
The epitome of a gorgeous fall card! The glow of your background and deeper rich and amazing color of the sunflowers is striking. This is an important day to observe. They thought WWI was the war to end all wars but it didn't turn out that way.
What stunning work Loll - love your colours and the beautiful crisp stencilling
Blessings
Maxine
Love the rich autumnal tones of your sunflower Loll, sure I have a packet of seeds of some that would be a perfect match!
My eldest grandson is on Remembrance Day parade for scouts tomorrow, looks to be dry for him this year. :)
I love sunflowers, and they look stunning in those gorgeous Fall colours, so striking xx

Your smooshed background is absolutely perfect for these lovely, lovely sunflowers Loll! I just love, LOVE the vibrant Autumn colors...it's exactly what the colors were this Fall here in Michigan and one of the prettiest we've had in many, many years! Of course the snow has started now and is in the forecast every day for the next week, so I guess Autumn is over for us now...sigh. Hugs. :0)
Beautiful warm colours for these chilly days ♥
