Hi everyone. The card above is Pearl Alcohol Inks on vellum. It gives the card a bit of a dreamy look. :) I simply smooshed the inks to create some pretty backgrounds. Adding a bit of blending solution helps the inks flow easier. Once the inks were dry, I sprinkled more blending solution on top and splattered with Silver Mixative (Ranger). The vellum panel is sandwiched between two pieces of card stock that have been die-cut with a rectangle frame. White die-cut of small grasses is added on top and the sentiment (Heartfelt - Penny Black) is stamped in Peacock Feathers distress ink.
I'm adding the above card to Seize the Birthday #263 - Anything Birthday Goes.
... and another ...
For this card I used Wild Plum, Sunbright Yellow, Sunset Orange on glossy card stock. I splattered with Delicate Gold Re-inker and also sponged the same ink onto white card stock; then die-cut my flower. Added a frame over top and stamped the sentiment in the same gold ink. Two half pearls were added to the center of the flowers to finish the card. Thanks for stopping by!

I Love every detail on both cards..Than you again for sharing. Love and Hugs...Nancy
Gosh, these two cards are beautiful!!
Gorgeous AI backgrounds and die cut flowers/greenery - thanks for reminding us that sentiments don't have to be inked in black, Loll.

Oh WOW, these are absolutely stunning, Loll! I love the colours. xx
Beautiful backgrounds on vellum, Lolly! Love the serene colors of the first and the burst of colors on the second! Two awesome cards, my friend!
You do have a way with alcohol inks, Loll. Both cards are beautiful.
Soft and dreamy, bold and vibrant -- two beautiful cards, Loll
WOW Loll these are so beautiful. Loving your use of the alcohol inks with two totally different results

Stunning backgrounds for your die cuts Loll. :)
Absolutely glorious alcohol ink backgrounds Loll both are beautiful and so different with the more light and summery colours on vellum..something I haven't tried, and then the vibrant really striking look of the red, yellow and orange on the second. The white die cut leaves and then the gold inked flowers on the other go perfectly with each of the looks to make two beautiful cards. x
Both of these are really cool, Loll! I love that you said the first one looked dreamy as that was my first thought too. I love the colors on the second one equally as much. Two totally different looks but oh so very pretty. Thanks for sharing your talents with us at Seize the Birthday.
Both of these cards are SO pretty Loll...you do backgrounds like no other and they're always GORGEOUS!! The softness of the first one on vellum really is dreamy and I love the boldness of the colors on the glossy cardstock too! Lovely, lovely cards my friend! Hugs. :0)
Both are beautiful, and I love the lightness of the white. That said, WOW I am bowled over by the gold...reminds me of an Italian piece of jewelry.
More gorgeous cards with fabulous color! The blue-green combo on the first is an all-time favorite and even prettier that you did the sentiment in blue. I don't know why I find that so striking. Your second card is a total WOW! That gold is so smooth and creamy!
Oh wow, Loll. Two beautiful cards. And double wow, for the gold one. That is gorgeous. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.
Wow, these are great. Love the colors and the sentiments. The second one really pops with those colors and the gold. Thanks for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday.
Gorgeous backgrounds Loll, love the look of the AI pearls, beautifully CAS with the added diecuts. Thankyou too for playing along at STB, Cathy x
Wow, Loll, I love the gold flowers over that rich BG! Beautiful! Sue N
What gorgeous background, what gorgeous cards! I love the inks on the vellum, so dreamy looking. Then the silhouettes are just perfect on those backgrounds. Hugs, Brenda
I'm playing catch up after our vacation and I've missed a whole lot of pretty! Each card is as wonderful as the next, Loll!
Both cards are beautiful Loll, I especially love the greens. That background is so dreamy. I can't wait to see it IRL ♥
Both cards are fantastic, Loll!
I love the dreamy look of the Pearl AIs on vellum! The die-cut small grasses are so pretty against the background.
The background of the second card is stunning! Great sense of unity created by the die-cut flowers sponged with the same gold ink as the splatter.
Hideko xx
Two beautiful cards, Loll. I love the mixed backgrounds, they are so unique.
