Hi everyone. I recently bought two rolls of 3" wide washi tape. I spent a couple of days playing with the first roll and came up with several CAS (clean and simple) Christmas cards. :) It was fun!
The card above is going to the Rudolph Days July Challenge - Anything Christmas goes. Thanks Maureen!!
And since this is the first time using the washi tape, I'm sending the above card over to NBUS Challenge #52 as well. :) Thanks Darnell!
I looked through my dies and picked out ones that had a frame around them. It was quick and easy to create a background with the washi tape and then add a white die-cut over top. That's the first four cards ... one above, and three more below ...
... and the above card is going to Merry Little Christmas Challenge #51.
Then I die-cut some shapes (rectangle, oval, frame) and covered them with the washi tape. Die-cut elements were added on top ...
Sending the above card to Christmas Craft Creations July Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes.

ReplyDeleteHow absolutely wonderful the gorgeous washi tape is for backgrounds in your classic CAS style! Dreamy with your dies. I love each of them, always being partial to woodland scenes and birds, and then the ornament with snowflakes is a thing of beauty in a whole other way. This is such a lovely collection for your growing Christmas card stash!
