More Ink Blending (DOX inks) with Water Lifting

The card above uses three colours of Distress Oxide Inks (Saltwater Taffy, Adandoned Coral, Candied Apple).  LOVE this combination.  Gold heat embossing an image from the Thriving stamp set (Penny Black) and then water lifted the colour from the flower petals and leaves.  Subtle, but pretty!  Finished by splattering with gold paint and adding a gold heat embossed sentiment banner (Banner Sentiments - Penny Black).

And this time, a Christmas card.  Just blended DOX inks - no water lifting.
The background is blended DOX inks:  Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Villianous Potion.  They look so pretty together! :)  First time using this stamp that I've had for a LONG time (AliExpress).  Because it's my first time using it, I'm sending the above card to NBUS Challenge #54.

... and also sending to Peace on Earth #47 - Anything Christmas Goes.

Still time to share your DOX ink blending cards with (or without) water lifting at Group of Seven if you'd like.  There's a link party there ... come join us! :)

Beautiful cards, Loll. I love the gold splatters on the first one with the gold embossing. While snow isn't my favorite thing, the Christmas scene is peaceful and lovely. I want to try this technique and can't wait until I'm home with my Oxide inks and foam blending tools.

A pair of beauties Loll - love your water lifting inside the embossed image on the top one, and the second one is so dramatic with the purple background against the 'snowbanks' and silhouette trees.

Two stunning cards Loll and I love the first using the water lifting technique and the red with the corally pink tones works beautifully. The second with that wonderful purple sky looks fabulous against the white and the Villainous Potion is amazing and adds that super depth of colour, and the black inked trees make it quite a tranquil scene, and finished perfectly with the white paint falling snow and the matching purple sentiment. x

Both of these are beautiful, my dear friend! I love your ink blended colors on both! The waterlifting gives great contrast to the flower and the splattered water on the second made a beautiful, snowy scene! This is such a fun technique!

You have an excellent eye for blending colors and both cards reflect that, Loll. The flower is gorgeous and the winter scene is not too far off. Even though I dread winter, your card captured it beautifully.
