Hi everyone. I'm sharing two products from Penny Black's new release - Scent of Spring 2024. The card above uses the beautiful stamp Confidant (40-921), which is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed in silver. I used Distress Re-inkers to watercolour the birds, flowers and foliage (Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral, and Salvaged Patina).
To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment (in Versamark) from the newly released set Super Day (31-044), and heat embossed in silver. You can see the shine from the silver embossing in the photo below.
Close-up ...
This card is heading to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge - March.
... and also to the Triple B March Challenge (Birds, Butterflies, and Blooms). I have both birds and blooms on my card. :)... and one more ... Double D - First Signs of Spring Challenge.

Beautiful!
Oh, my gosh, this is sooooo gorgeous! I love it with your silver embossing and stellar watercoloring. I ordered both these sets and a whole lot more the very moment they were released. They attempted to deliver yesterday but I wasn't home, and for some reason they required a signature. I scheduled a redelivery for today... the mail came, but no package. I'm not sure how this works... maybe another truck? I'm currently working on other projects, but I still want my happy mail!
Oops, I also meant to thank you for sharing in our Double D First Signs of Spring challenge. A fitting stamp for it and so beautifully crafted, sigh.
Love the colours you used - the red flowers with the light blue birds is such a great combination! Beautiful image too!
Beautiful job of watercoloring, Loll. Any card with birds is a winner in my book.
