Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing another of the new Penny Black release. This time I've used a cling stamp called Sophistication (40-929).
I started with the Honeycomb Stencil (Penny Black), sponging along one side of my card front in Salvaged Patina distress ink. Removed the stencil and then stamped Sophistication in Smoky Slate ink (SU!) and heat embossed in clear.
I watercoloured the image in Distress Inks (Ripe Persimmon, Crackling Campfire, and Peeled Paint). I then stamped the sentiment (Family Sentiment - Penny Black) in more of the slate ink to finish the card.
Close-up ...
Sending the above card to two challenges:

This card is absolutely lovey! I love the complementary colors and the fade of the stencil is just perfect.
Such lovely colours and that stencil makes an amazing background for your pretty flowers xx
Love the way you've anchored the spray with that fab, soft blue, stencilling Loll. :)
I LOVE what that little bit of honey comb stenciling adds to your design! Beautiful card, Loll!
Beautiful bright flowers Loll and such pretty stencilling down the side blended with Salvaged Patina which is such a lovely blue and goes brilliantly with the orange of the flowers. x
These flowers are so pretty in these colors and I love how they play with the blue stenciling! Such a pretty card, my friend!
This is so soft and pretty Loll! I'm loving the lightly stenciled side of the card, and your main image is beautifully water colored! I don't know why I never thought of using Smokey Slate as an outline color, but I really like it and will have to remember that! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Love the way you only stencilled on one side of the flower. Beautiful colouring of the flower!
Beautiful Loll, love the delicate flowers and the soft stenciling ♥
Really beautiful, Loll, I love the soft blending and bold but dainty flowers!
Exquisite use of the stamp to make a sophisticated card Loll.

I love how dreamy this looks with your soft sponged background and beautiful watercoloring. it’s so ethereal. Love this!
The partial stenciling is a great frame for the flowing flowers, Loll. So pretty!
I love that stencil fade welcoming the blooms. Great choices. Beautiful card.
A really lovely and delicate card. x
Oh, my, this is pretty! I love this color, so expertly applied, and the honeycomb is such a nice effect. It's interchangeable with chicken wire, and so this reminds me of a volunteer flower that popped up along the edge of the chicken coop. All those years on a farm have stuck with me. Really gorgeous, Loll!
You make such lovely cards, Loll and this one is no exception. Clean and Simple yet detailed...very unique! Thank you so much for joining us at The Beautiful Blossoms challenge this month!
