That was a great idea to save the card and it works brilliantly. Such wonderful contrast with those bold colours and the black base. Excellent xx
Well rescued Loll, the colours really pop against the black. :)
Great save, Loll - that floral spray looks amazing against the black!! So dramatic!!
Nothing more striking than vibrant colors on black. i’m not sure of your process but the results are phenomenal! This is GORGEOUS!
Such gorgeous vibrant colours - that plus the sentiment would be sure to give anyone a lift!
This is stunning, Lolly! These bright, rich colors are awesome on the black background! Love the added embossed panel!
This is bold and dynamic, Lolly, and I'll bet the texture in person is incredible! You are so inspiring when it comes to rocking colors! Thank you for linking to NBUS again and playing with my embossed I.D.E.A.S.!📌 Love, Dolly
This was an excellent save Loll, and the brightly coloured flowers really pop against the black background, and the Weathered embossing folder is perfect..a fabulous card. x
I had the same problem with the cracking (or tearing) showing up even more so when using the blackout technique, and had to remember to lightly mist my cardstock with water before embossing it, and that sure helped! You made a great save though by fussy cutting out the image Loll, and it looks fabulous against the black embossed cardstock! Bold, bright and beautiful my friend!! Hugs. :0)
wonderfully bright colours Loll, I love the distressed look with a touch of black in the cracks on the flowers. Great save by fussy cutting ♥
Gorgeous card. The vibrant colors really pop against the black background.
Gorgeous Floral Card, Lolly. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful card, my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy
A bold and beautiful card Loll - and a fabulous 'save'!!
Blessings

So beautiful, a great save with great impact. x
Loll, I just went to a card making class using this technique. My background had cracks as well. Your idea of fussy cutting the flowers out and placing on a black paper background is a great tip. Thanks for sharing.
I'm sorry your panel cracked but you saved it in such a wonderful way, Loll. I love that technique and you had a perfect embossing folder for it.
dramatic and gorgeous!

Been on a vacay to Ohio to see the folks. So catching up. Have loved seeing your posts while I have been away.
This is one gorgeous stunning fabulous card. Love the drama of the dark background.
Those bright flowers are stunning against the black background!
Your beautifully bright and bold flowers are wonder to behold! Love the boldness, but also the rescue of your beautiful flowers
I love those vibrant colors against the black. Gorgeous!
Jaw dropping incredible! Words are inadequate. Fabulous color on the black. The cracking has a distressed look and I wouldn't have seen it as a flaw at all. Just WOW!
Wow, Loll, so many pretty makes while I was away! I took a good long gander at each and every one. Today's card is beyond gorgeous, my friend!
This is stunning, Loll! The vibrant colors beautifully pop against the black background! The distressed texture of the background panel adds a wonderful layer of depth and perfectly echoes the weathered beauty of the flowers.

I love drawing a black ink pad through the embossed and colored panel. Placing the flowers on a black embossed background looks really dramatic.
