IDEAS June - Inks / Colour Mediums

Hi everyone.  It's time for the next IDEAS Challenge with Darnell.  This week is "I for Inks / Colour Mediums".

I stamped the image (Blooming Bunch - Studio Katia) in black permanent ink and watercoloured with Distress Inks:  Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint.  I used the matching die to cut out my piece, placing it over top of a dry embossed background using Weathered Embossing Folder (Taylor Expressions).  I added a simple black sentiment banner with white embossing (Simply Sentiments - Lawn Fawn).

  6. I love it when you color, and these large blooms are the perfect opportunity for lots of it, in this case the gentle blend of pink and yellow. It's just lovely, Loll. And that touch of embossing -- perfection!

  21. Great set of colors you used to color this image. I love how the yellow and pink mix together to create fantastic, delicate flowers. I also love the embossed background, it highlights the floral bouquet so beautifully.
