Hi everyone. Another card for July's Group of Seven technique - Kaleidoscope.
I tried a few alternatives to the Kaleidoscope technique we shared last month. I stamped the image (Kind Soul - WPlus 9 - closed) in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold. I used Distress Re-inkers to watercolour the flowers, leaves, sky before cutting up the image into different widths. I lined up the strips in random order and adhered to my card base, leaving a narrow space between strips. To finish, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed in Gold to match the image. I love how this card turned out. Again, you can use all types images or backgrounds for this technique.
Close-up ...

I love the strong tones of purple and red that you used here with this pretty stamp which really lends itself to being cut up in this way Loll, and really sparkles with the gold embossing and the added bright yellow flower centres, and finished with this lovely style of 'Hello' along the top...a really eyecatching card! x

Wow! The color of all your kaleidoscope cards is fantastic! I'm in awe. I'm sorry I'm not up to my usual regular visits. I keep hoping things will settle down. Maybe soon.
Those bold colors are just amazing, what a wonderful and pretty design! Thanks for playing along with us at Simply CAS!
Wow! In fact, little is needed for this card, and the end result is amazing. I love how you moved the order and direction of individual elements, thanks to which you managed to introduce a revival on the card. I love white gaps between individual elements of the image.
Hugs,
Bożena
