Hi everyone. Sharing one more card using this beautiful tulip stamp from the Overflowing Stamp set (31-062) - Penny Black, cutting it out with matching die (Overflowing Cut Out 51-822). I watercoloured the flowers with Distress Inks: Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral. LOVE these colours for this stamp. :) This time I paired it with Brew-tea-ful (31-063), stamped in light gray and watercoloured with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I used the matching die (Brew-tea-ful cut out - 51-823) to cut it out.
I used one of Jill Foster's sketches, adding a panel of dry embossed (Variegated 65-008) in white for the middle section of thecard, adding a small strip at the bottom, which is watercoloured to match the greenery in the bouquet. To finish, I stamped a sentiment (Happy Snippets 30-358) in black ink.

ReplyDeleteYou've beautifully combined this bouquet of tulips with a cup. You've collapsed wonderfully the flowers of the tulip, which you put in a blue sweet mug. You composed the background very interestingly, this green strap at the bottom beautifully the stirress of the pressed background.
