Hi everyone. Another card for October's Group of Seven technique - Glitter Painting on Acetate.
Unfortunately, it's very difficult to photograph cards that use acetate because the light bounces off and reflects. The only way is to make the card fairly dark ... and that's what I did, but I lost the sparkly goodness of the glitter that's added to the back of the images. :( Trust me, in real life, the card has sparkle! :)
All in all, I'm happy with my finished cards, but did not enjoy working with loose glitter.
Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful! Not too dark!
So beautiful and looks so easy. My next project!
Simply gorgeous Loll and not too dark my friend.
Beautiful Glittery Christmas Card, dear friend:-) TFS your Christmas Season, Lolly:-)
This looks beautiful, not too dark at all xx
I am with you on the loose glitter, terrible stuff. It gets everywhere. I still have some but haven't used it in years. Your card is so pretty. I think the end result was worth the hassle xx
Beautiful card. I am still going to try this technique when I decide which stamp to use. :)'
I really like this card!
You lost the schparkle, Lolly, but not the beauty! Actually, without it, this looks like a real stunning stained glass window with the silver looking soldered! Hugs, Darnell
This is gorgeous Loll and love the three scripted panels with the pretty seasonal foliage and poinsettia flower, and the colours are beautiful and the bright red sentiment complements it perfectly. I think the design with the acetate adhered to the two white panels which look as though they have been popped up for dimension looks great, and this also allows the light to shine through the added space. x
Sparkle showing or not, this is a pretty card, Loll! Wonderful CAS design!
We definitely believe the glitter sparkles! I'll bet it's truly wonderful IRL -- it is very pretty,Loll!
Fabulous glitter painting - love the reds and greens with the platinum embossing.
