The background uses the Splash Watercolouring technique to create an artsy backdrop for this pretty poinsettia. The sentiment (Christmas Messages - Hero Arts) is stamped in more of the Baked Brown Sugar ink.

Beautiful card. Love that pretty poinsettia. Love your "Splashy" background too. Isn't it fun to play with new goodies. TFS
Those are some gorgeous poinsettias! Love all your techniques you used-thanks for joining us at Die Cut Divas! (Jessie is too cute btw!)
Great idea for a red and kraft challenge! I wouldn't have thought of using kraft for the leaves but they look fabulous. Love the splashed background - just enough for added interest!
Beautiful card and a lovely poinsettia die too.
Loll, this is just gorgeous! I can't believe there are poinsettias that I haven't seen - or purchased!

How wonderful to get such a beautiful poinsettia die for Christmas, Loll! It looks lovely on that splashed background. I remembered seeing the video before and need to revisit that technique.
Your poinsettia is gorgeous, Lolly! And the splash background and pretty sentiment all go together for an awesome Christmas card! Good for you getting a head start on those Christmas cards! Thanks for sharing this with us at Color Hues too!
No time like the present to get a head start on Christmas cards and what a gorgeous poinsettia you've made, Loll! The subtle white ink blending around the edges give a nice soft look and the splash background is fabulous; I like that it's a little more random than the "smooshing" technique. Thank you so much for joining us at Color Hues!
Loll, your Christmas card is just gorgeous! That's a wonderful die cut and you've colored it beautifully. Love your background, too. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!

Look at you getting a head start on Christmas, Loll. Gorgoeus card! Sponging your dies was a wonderful idea as it left a lot of lights and darks. I will have to remember that. You always make the best backgrounds too. Thanks for starting your year with us at Color Hues.
This is stunning, love the red and kraft combo! Thanks for joining our January challenge at Die Cut Divas.
Loll, your background came out so cool I just had to go watch the video. So easy and fun and I'll bet I could make a great mess with the splashing, but I love it! Gorgeous poinsettia and now is the best time to start on Christmas cards!
